Q: We have 3 zones, with each one having a particular LED type: Single White, CCT and RGBW. We would like to have a single remote control which can be linked with one or multiple controllers, to which we can then connect our LED-strips. With that single remote we want to be able to switch the lights on and off, change intensity, change colour, change colour temperature, all separately. Also, when we switch on and off the CV driver, the lights must retain their previous settings, so ideally we'd want a controller with memory.
A: All of the above is possible. First of all, our LED Strip Controllers use smart technology and operate via radio frequency. They have memory and are able to retain the previous settings of your strip, so if you turn off and on again, nothing from your last action will have changed.
If you are operating multiple types of LED strip, the most simple and effective solution would be to pick up our RGB+Tunable LED Strip Remote and in this scenario pair it to three RGB+Tunable Controllers. From there, you only wire the channels needed for each strip, leaving the rest as having "no connection", meaning one will only operate single colour functions and so on. So, while this means that each controller won't have 100% of its functionality at any one time, it will work to cater for the strip you need it to. We think this is a very good compromise in achieving otherwise complicated situations.
