Q: You offer some LED strips and accessories at a discounted cost. Is there something wrong with them?

A: The short answer is no. 

There are a number of reasons why a product of ours may enter a sale period. The first thing to consider is that LED Lighting technology is constantly improving; daily there are advancements and we at Hi-Line constantly strive to meet demands and exceed expectations. 

Consider, for instance, that some LED Strips that you see on sale might have a lower CRI (Colour Rendering Index) rating, such as this Cool White IP00 LED Tape. The fact of the matter is that with our strips now achieving 80~90 CRI and higher, we no longer promote or manufacture anything with a lesser CRI value. This doesn't mean that the strips you see on sale are of any lesser quality - they still use the same Epistar chipsets and go through the same rigorous "binning" procedures - but we sometimes make decisions to clear out older stock, which may pre-date 2016. We can assure you that if you purchase a sale item from us, it will work just as efficiently as any of newer models. Another reason you may find a product enter our sale is simply because we overstock at times. This means that we might be more likely to rotate our products at certain intervals, so it's always worth re-visiting the site to try and find a deal that suits you best. 

Finally, we've even been known to throw in brand new products for our Flash Sales. Just recently, we've offered our High Density LED Strips and LED Neon Flex, both of which we promoted for a limited 24 Hour period in the first week of them coming into our warehouse!
