We appreciate that it can be a little confusing knowing which hardware requirements need to be met in order to successfully dim LED Strips. A common issue we come across is being asked which drivers are compatible with which type of strip.
To put it simply, for dimming RGBW strips you won't need a Mains Dimmable Driver; this is because dimming is done through an RGBW Controller/Strip Dimmer, in addition to a Remote Control. The following link is where you can find our range of Non-Dimmable Driver/PSU to use instead. If you are running a Home Automation kit, such as Phillips Hue, you can also achieve dimming from RGBW strips. You can also hook up something along the lines of the ZigBee controllers to then communicate with your Home Lighting System and regulate dimming.
Mains Dimming can only be accomplished with Single Colour LED Tape, so take care when considering what you really need for your installation.
